Go Solo! (Being in Solo, Indonesia and trying out new things)
Being in Indonesia for 3 months is indeed not only a great honor but also a privilege for me to be able to find a new me. In dancing, I become a warrior or a monkey or a horse. In playing karawitan or gamelan, my soul lifts and dances with the angels. In doing the batik art, I become more patient--painstakingly waxing and painting. Being part of the Lucky 13 of Solo, rubbing elbows on a daily basis with the Prince of Mangunegaran, just simply exploring new things I've never done before...indeed, if only for this, I would really have to repay Indonesia a lot...

Terima Kasih Indonesia
I have long wanted to start a blog but due various reasons I couldn't start one. I envy my friends who have one, like Roel's gridcrosserfiles, Sherma's bilingualpen, and Rei's intothebutterfly. Lately, one of my fellow awardees in the Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship (IACS) 2009 invited me to see her posts (Stef from the USA) and got inspired the more to start my blog here in Indonesia.
I have written quite a number of articles in the past, but being the not so "techie" person that is me, I really couldn't start. My Facebook account, as a matter of fact, was created just a month ago by my co-scholars Amanda and Suzi. I am making up for the lost time facebooking, that is why I'm enjoying every bit of it now.
With this blogsite, I urge you all to enter my world. I am Dambooh and in the next few posts, follow my adventures.
